So, it seems I'll be using this as a Second Life blog
I've decided, now that this blog is conveniently attached to my email, that I'm going to actually start using it.I will post some of my Second Life adventures here, of course!
If you've been living under a rock, Second Life is basically like the internet but everyone runs around in avatars. You can do lots of stuff there. I like doing liveaction roleplay. Not THAT kind of roleplaying, but more the "Dungeons & Dragons" geek RPing. Because I am a geek. AND HOW.
So much of a geek that I am a GM for not one but two of these such roleplaying sims. One is Midgar (http://www.slmidgar.com) which is a Final Fantasy 7 based RP sim. The other is World of Hogwarts (http://www.worldofhogwarts.org) which is a Harry Potter world based RP sim.
They are a lot of fun but, as I'm in management, really time consuming and I can give you an interesting look into the politics, fun, and general weirdness/sometimes asshattery I get to deal with in this virtual world on a daily basis.
